Join us at the Irish National Stud & Gardens for a hands-on garden workshop with Jimi Blake, focused on the most talked-about challenges in gardening: planting combinations that work. Jimi, founder of Huntingbrook Gardens in Wicklow, is known for his fearless approach to planting: bold pairings & unusual textures. This workshop is for all gardeners who want to improve their eye for combining plants.
The day starts at 11:00am where Jimi will give his insights on what makes good combinations tick – structure, contrast, colour, texture. A buffet-style lunch in the Japanese Gardens Restaurant follows, and the rest of the day is spent walking the grounds with Jimi through the Japanese Gardens & St. Fiachra’s Garden. The day will finish at 3pm.
